Veja is a French shoe company that is dedicated to transparent ecological and fair trade material sourcing while protecting the Amazon and supporting the local economy. The Amazon is the only place on earth where rubber trees grow wild, and Veja uses a rubber tapping process that limits industrial intermediary processes and allows the rubber tappers to sell at a higher income. Organic cotton is purchased from 320 organic farming families and respects fair trade rules. Leather is eco-tanned with vegetable extracts, and never comes from cattle raised in the Amazon.
